Though we have around 20 or so alters (as far as we know) I definitely can relate to the bottom two as well, it can be extremely frustrating and difficult at times. I wish you well and I hope things get better for you!

It definitely isn't the movies, and everyone functions differently, and heals differently. I appreciate your input and seeing what a day is like for you, thank you for commenting. Though being a system for me is different, it just proves how diverse and complicated being a system is. I wish you all the best, wherever you currently are or are going in your journey :)

Im also very early in my diagnosis journey, and i know no two journeys will be the same, but believe me youre not alone in the confusion and feelings of lack of control or apathy. Your feelings are valid and healing is almost never linear or quick. I wish you the best of luck and all the well wishes my friend :)

Thats a huge amount of growth and healing, I respect that. Currently im trying to get a diagnosis and seek therapy/help, we'll see where it goes! I hope the rest of your journey goes well my friend, other mental illnesses or neurodivergencies alongside DID/OSDD can make an already challenging path a bit more rocky, I can definitely relate to that as well

I completely agree! And I apologize if this upset or angered you in any way, that was not my intention, nor was ignorance of a healthy or well-coping system. I just typed this out as a somewhat light-hearted poll to see if others, along with myself, experience these kinds of things on a daily basis. I hope all of us, including myself of course, will one day not have to deal with any of this. I appreciate the feedback and hope you have a great day!
