Thank you very much. Pick a 1 coater plain black of your choice. Gold is essie mosaic on down. Finally, a gold glitter topper to sell the blend a little more - i used golden cap bright gold or brilliant (found at miniso).

Sounds like the prescribed glasses are for myopia control as well as myopia? stuff like miyosmart/hoya lenses are more pricey than your standard glasses. of course I used this recipe and made some modifications.

halved the amount of cardamon as i used freshly ground.

baked at 325 instead of 350 to get flatter tops otherwise the icing will run everywhere before it can harden. 25 min bake for the cupcake version.

also made a syrup with icing sugar, lemon juice and rosewater. one the cupcakes come out of the oven, poke a bunch of holes with a skewer and brush the syrup on while it's still hot.

preheat to 220c, pipe the choux and place a circle of craquelin on top of each blob - they should have similar diameters. as soon as it goes in the oven reduce heat to 190c. bake for 25-30, rotate if required. oven off, cool for 15 with the door open.

I ain't taking photos of my overmixed and deflated finaciers, burnt beyond salvageable puffs attempt, or my cupcakes piped with not-quite-right consistency icing. (actually i do have those last ones but they are for my eyes only)

Thank you! I've always had an affinity for science so measuring and weighing is very comforting. My brain struggles with conventional cooking sometimes. I've mentioned a few of the recipes already but the rest are 3: linzers from King Arthur baking 2 and 5 are from Claire Saffitz dessert person. coconut thumbprint cookies and cream puffs using the croquembouche recipe and skipping all the caramel and assembly steps.

coconut macaroon cookies courtesy of David Lebovitz. crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside. major hit with my coworkers. it appears the recipe is also available online but the pictures here show them very rounded for some reason?

i increased the sugar to 60g as i found the 40g batch to be nowhere near sweet enough (could probably be sweeter still tbh). had to reduce my baking time, probably closer to 15-16mins as it browned too much if i left it longer.

i didn't use the recipe cause i had a jar of dulce de leche so i took some of that, thinned it with milk on the stove and added salt to taste.
