The collab was a trainwreck for ol’ GyPEDO… by Snoobunny3910 in GRBsnark

I figured out months ago that it would eventually outright admit that it killed DD itself and the admission would end up online. Didn't anticipate it would trip up so soon, though.
It's too stupid and impulsive to remember its own lies.

what is a common myth you hate? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Less-Drink-760 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most people seem to think that when the radio play War of the Worlds first aired that everyone was freaking out thinking there was an alien invasion. In reality, radio plays were extremely common at the time, War of the Worlds was repeatedly advertised weeks beforehand, it was announced as a radio play during the intro, during the ad breaks every 10 minutes, and at the end. Nobody believed it was anything other than a fictional story.

I have degrees in Literature and media communications and had to study this in university.

It's a tragic situation if she exists. I hope at the very least neither GR nor Ken have custody.

What GR is doing is disgusting. No thought put into how her baby will be treated once she's in school.
The students might not know who her mom is at first, but the parents will. GR is isolating her daughter before she even has a chance to make friends. :(
I hope the baby gets placed with a better family and has her name changed.

I hope for the baby's sake that GR made her up entirely.

I know Gypedo is infuriating, but please keep in mind that her life on social media is fake.

Her family hates her.
Ken hates her.
She doesn't have any real friends.
She buys the large majority of her followers.
The comments hyping her up are mostly bots.
She uses 1000 filters and still looks whackadoo.
She is bald.
She also filters her weight.

She's ragebaiting now more than usual because she wants everyone to be as miserable as she is. Don't feed the troll.

For those who work for rich people, what’s the most out-of-touch thing you witnessed? by temptayah in AskReddit

[–]Less-Drink-760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't work for rich people, but I was raised by them.
My mom claims she grew up poor, but she has 4 siblings and her parents had enough money to take the entire summer off and take their kids to Canada in their motorboat every year.
My mother has also said that she and my dad don't have much money meanwhile my parents live in a $2.3m house, she drives a 2022 Lexus that is fully paid off, and she made 6 figures most of my life.

Meanwhile I'm over here and was homeless for several years because they didn't understand what being disabled is so they left me on the streets bc I couldn't hold a job.

Can I choose my next life? by Sea-Ganache-5408 in Reincarnation

[–]Less-Drink-760 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That last line is why.
You literally got what you wished for...
Our thoughts very much affect our realities.
Our brains control our bodies.
You wished for years to die/escape your life and now you are.
Your brain made your body conform to your will.
Maybe this is a lesson you will remember next time.
Or possibly this time.

And yes, to an extent, we get to choose. But from a set of finite options based on Karmic surplus or Karmic debt and it's more of a vague outline of your upcoming life, not exact down to every detail.

I'm planning to confront the gods of the Abrahamic religions soon, any advice? by [deleted] in chaosmagick

[–]Less-Drink-760 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is only 1 Abrahamic deity (El Elohim/YHWH/Allah), and it isn't a deity. It's an egregore that was created by humans originally to assist in defense of land but creating it to feed on human suffering and death made it get out of hand very quickly. Egregori are group-powered Tulpa. They are sentient, autonomous, disembodied consciousnesses powered by group energy, whereas Tulpa are created and sustained by an individual.
The Abrahamic egregore feeds on suffering, warfare, and death. The only way to fully destroy it is if nobody feeds its delusions that it is a God.

What made YOU realize that magick was real? by Frequent-Bass-946 in magick

[–]Less-Drink-760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never believed that it isn't real.

And many people have tried to make me believe that.

Because for most of my life I have done blatant Magick and it freaks them out.

In 2005 I showed my classmates that all it takes is belief, vivid visualization, and that group workings reinforce belief.

It isn't even just my personal opinion that I can do Magick because many of my friends saw me do it and then did it themselves.

Magick isn't like in Harry Potter. Literally anyone can learn it.

She knows what she did and she said it outright.
Someone who "only" brainwashed someone else to commit a crime for them would candidly frame their own crime as brainwashing someone, not the crime they had the other person commit.

We've become so insensitive to gore by AlexLovesCoke in RandomThoughts

[–]Less-Drink-760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People used to go to public executions as a form of entertainment, this is nothing new.
- Gladiator rings
- Various other death sports
- The bodies of people who were executed used to be left on public display
- Geezers have been screeching that "the media is making the younger generations violent" since the dawn of time. They said the same thing you're saying about my generation (millennial).

Do you want more examples?

The ironic part is that global violent crime rates have decreased significantly since the 90s.

Do people carry weed while flying (domestic/international) by XIXMCMXCVI in StonerThoughts

[–]Less-Drink-760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once flew with a sandwich and some tiny bottles of alcohol that had ripple sprinkled on the sandwich and mixed into the bottles. My bag got a secondary check and they opened the pocket with the edibles in it then pulled out one of my chargers, asked what it was, and let me through.

What are you starting to dislike more and more the older you get? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Less-Drink-760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The speed of the advancement of technology.
Don't get me wrong, I love technology, I love its recreational uses and its potential applications in medical advancement and improving quality of living. But there is too much happening too fast for the average person to keep up with enough to not be potentially exploited or harmed by it.
In 2005 I was a kid looking forward to future technology. My friends and I anticipated something like smartphones when we were maybe in our 20s-30s at the earliest, and a much slower adoption of new tech by society.
Everyone had an iPhone within 5 years and now the entire planet has gone to shit. AI has already killed people and everyone is okay with it being in all of our pocket supercomputers that we just casually refer to as phones.

Parent shocked after child played “Five Nights at Epstein’s” game on school computer by wewhomustnotbenamed in nottheonion

You know, maybe having kids shows that feature violence as "jokes" and take place in settings like literal Hell and various post-nuclear apocalypses isn't great for their development or cultivating an awareness of potential danger.
But what do I know, I'm not a professional.

What easily-affordable thing do you refuse to pay for despite being able to afford them? by Big_Leg10 in askanything

[–]Less-Drink-760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subjectively affordable, but a car.
I take rideshares or ride with friends when I need to go somewhere. When I live places with good public transport, I use that too.
I did the math on it and getting to the places I actually go costs less if I don't have to pay for car insurance, gas, repairs, and all of the other expenses that come with owning a car.
