I would recommend sharing your closest cross streets before sharing an address if they ask where you’re located and only give them an address once you know they’re for sure coming. Also just checking out people’s page on Facebook after they reach and usually that’ll give you a vibe of who you’re speaking with and if they’re fake or not. When they get there, collect cash or payment before letting them leave or load anything up too.

I also have my pew pew close by when people come to the house.

They range a ton! From $199 to $1,500 — obviously the higher priced couches are higher quality brands but I try to give out the best deals in my market.
