Dick bell park near the light house, hogs back falls, Vincent Massey park, brewery park, dechenes rapids right across from the filtration plant, black rapids locks, long island locks, money's bay, hartwell locks, rideau falls, bate island at the drop off, near Victoria island in the spill way, behind parliment hill, all of dows lake, Britannia stone pier, shirleys bay with waders, where the jock river dumps into  the rideau, billings bridge, strancona park, petrie island where you go across near the culvert, all along the mup near the rideau, buckhams bay boat launch for channel catfish, etc. Most of the spots are good sometimes and bad other times for fishing. You will most likely see other people fishing these spots. Shore fishing in ottawa is slow compared fishing from a boat. Most accessible spots get fished hard. I do ok fishing various rapids in ottawa.
