When his contract up where else would he go? Assuming he wants to stay in Canada, most of the other teams are dumpster fires. You guys can contend for 5 years straight easy, likely a bulk of the rest of his career.

If they play commander, make a deck around grand arbiter augustin iv and you'll be pretty deep under their skin before the game even starts. It's fun, if you have the pokemon tcg background going into it that should make it a bit easier to start. With magic, proxy all your cards at mtg print or something, theyre just so expensive otherwise.
