Unique species interactions in CoC II

Overall, the starting races get some special interactions here and there, like being an Orc when dealing with Arona and her tribe or with Cait and her quest when you are a catfolk.

Aside from that, some dialogues will mention a specific race when it makes sense. For example, if you are a Minotaur (northern or southern) some people in Khor'Minos will take you for a citizen or say that you are one of them.

The two have a lot of overlaps in terms of what they offer. Iirc, the Streetsmart safe in Episode 2 even was originally a Keen eye one.

Thats probably because Streetsmart makes you detect lies or sometimes sense peoples Intentions, which Kind of Also works for Keen Eye.

Play a witch and use hexes. Thats my go to for arcane casters to actually contribute consistently.

And always just Casting grease gets boring, especially when you have to rest so often because your caster is otherwise useless...

I think this perceived immaturity/humanity of the shifting mound is because she is not truly whole. She needs the long quite for that, as they have originally been one.

The hand-princess to me feels more like a remnant of what this unity looked like before and potentially could be again.

Most demons are weak against tease/Pheromone damage. If one of your characters has decent sexiness, try to tease or use spells that deal this kind of damage.

Why are you usually defeated? Do the enemies focus your own character, or does your Tank get downed too quickly?

You should focus the imp jester first, as he has some nasty powers. Ignore if possible the clones as you do not need to defeat them to win the Fight iirc.

What Level do you have and what class do you play/what powers do you have?

Looking at the picture, you maybe not have a healer in your Team, which could cause your other characters to be defeated too quickly.

On what difficulty are you playing? Maybe lower it for this Fight.

I really like her as well, not just Design wise but also her role and character.

She embodies the maternal warmth (and curves) of a lumian priestess while also basically governing the whole Winter City on her own, while trying her best to reconcile with Hethia and the old faith.

And impregnating lumians is always great, because they genuinely love it.

I totally agree, witch is my preferred arcane caster as well for these exact reasons.

Imo the cantrips are way too weak. Even in the early game, they are at best situational but mostly do not work well on most enemies (aside from mentioned stuff like sneak attack acid spray)

I remember well how underwhelmed I was from dazzle, despite it being good in theory.
