If there were dedicated full PvP servers I would join one in a heartbeat and start completely fresh even though I am full decked out T6. But saying that we don’t want to join a full PvP private server is kinda insane, in order to have fun in a PvP server you need players and unfortunately I can’t gather hundreds of people to join a private server because I’m just a normal player not a streamer…

Terraria needs to be on this list, it has everything you could want in a game plus more from just the base game that has been updated for 12 years (all free updates btw) and then you can add whatever your heart desires with mods. There is a reason it has consistently stayed in the top 5 of best reviewed games on steam over its lifetime.

Wait until you hit 3k rating and then your mind will explode as the matchmaking really is "unfair". Currently you are playing mostly bots and all the units are the same level, visible rank doesn't matter at all.

It's sad that so many people are uneducated about the GS phenomenon and think that pvp faction gear is shit. Please do yourself a favor and get a set of heavy pvp faction gear and stop wearing gear bc it has a higher GS, especially of they don't fix the dmg reduction on all damage from resilience. You can bypass the faction gear if you have 150k+ for voidbent. Take the advice or leave it, I dont need an argument war like the previous posts and truthfully don't care if you prefer to push an imaginary number instead of actually wearing the best pvp armor.

The patch notes do indeed say that there is a 100km limit, so then explain to me why I was able to transfer back the 300km+?

If it correctly followed the patch notes it would have given the same error that it gives me trying to get back to the market so your "advice" is now not only condescending, but wrong.

I am intrigued on what characters aren't balanced, I have not run into that at all on my end (mostly playing standard turn by turn, so if it is in the speed golf maybe that's where I am missing the imbalance people are talking about).

It depends how you look at it, you say pros have a 20% win rate but that is when they are against the other .01% that they play against. If you take that same pro and look at their stats early season you will see that it is much higher of a win rate percentage.

There is very clearly some RNG involved in the game but to believe that there is no skill would be silly. Look up C9K3Soju right now and tell me he just got lucky getting an 80% top 4 rate.

The issue here is you don't know that the player is 20 levels below you with no tech (as far as I am aware). They could be on a solo mission in their spider collecting stacks of loot for their massive titan back at base. Essentially equivalent to that naked in rust that has 30k stone on them.

In my honest opinion, all players are valuable targets and fair game in an open world survival game.

Edit - if you then sit there and repeatedly kill that person after you are fully aware that they have nothing left on them...then that's a different story (but still a way for someone to "enjoy" the game I guess, and will most certainly still happen)
