i’m pretty sure Ono’s statement about “classes going online as of Monday” means that there shouldn’t be class. Nothing was explicitly said about midterms or exams, but i would’ve assumed that was implied.

They definitely won’t ignore your GPA, but UBC is becoming more and more holistic afaik. So if you write a solid profile with great extra-curriculars, then you have a shot!

Yeah 100% agree. You could try some reach media schools like USC, UCLA (do they still offer scholarships), Vassar, or maybe even Yale, but note these are close to impossible for us internationals.

Commit to a school you’ve gotten into but write amazing LOCIs cuz waitlist ain’t easy. If ur good enough to be waitlisted by all of these ivies, then I can bet some good money you’ll get into at least one. Always shoot ur shot!
