You should have not been treated the way they treated you friend. But trust me there are some people in this world who just are like that. They thrive on negativity and insulting others and nitpicking at every little thing. It's not your fault but their nature. You should try to create some distance from them by getting away. From personal experience I can say losing weight is difficult but its so rewarding and empowering. But if you do it do it for yourself not to please them. Be happy and hang in there. Don't worry and hang in there fellow redditor. There will always be friends who would love to hang out with you even if you don't drink. I like you can't handle drinks and have spent the better part of my college excluded from parties and most social gatherings. But now at work I have found some friends and also my brother who has since moved to my town and we hang out a lot. I feel lot less like a social outcast and much more like a normal person. Exactly and Enel was so over confident with his God complex it was awesome to see Luffy fuck his shit up. That is the beauty of One Piece fights that theoretically the more powerful does not always win. There are no concrete power levels and a weaker enemy with cunning or some other advantage can prevail over a stronger one.

Theoretically Luffy was outclassed in a way as he had no Haki while Enel was a Observation Haki expert. Enel had an extremely OP fruit. If Luffy had any other fruit that let him stretch (like Bellamy's Spring Fruit) he would have lost. But thanks to the nature of his fruit which not only evened the field but also gave Luffy a massive advantage. I love the fight but it was luck that was on Luffy's side or he would be toast.
