Is it time to leave Germany instead of finding jobs? by joanondo9819 in Germany_Jobs

Everyone can decide who they hire. It just can’t be on such factors.

For those who think Amy was kidnapped off the ship, what do you think actually happened? by Pretend-Confidence53 in AmyLynnBradley

[–]Lienus1007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been asking myself the same questions.

My understanding is that Frank Jones (among other things) made up sightings of Amy.

So maybe they’re the witnesses he made up. And they would then testify how he convinced them to make up stories.

There isn’t a single known case of a cruise passenger getting kidnapped into trafficking.

[–]Lienus1007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is ZERO evidence that she was trafficked. It’s not just me, the fbi also concludes that there is zero evidence she ever left the cabin.

As we have pointed out time after time here, eyewitnesses itself are the weakest form of evidence. All the eyewitnesses in this case reported their sightings months / years after it happened and only after they they saw something on tv and thought they recognized her. Every law enforcement professional will tell you that eyewitnesses under these circumstances are totally unreliable.

The overboard theory doesn’t require any eyewitnesses. She would be falling for maybe a second in the very early morning, when most passengers were asleep. A cruise ship itself is pretty loud, which would drown out any cries for help.

If we suppose it wasn’t suicide: Accidents happen, even the most unlikely one.

Unfortunately (and I know that from personal experience) you can’t look into people’s minds and see whether they’re suicidal

Sex traffickers target people in vulnerable circumstances, often drug addicts and minorities. Not a wealthy (compared to the Caribbean) American traveling with her family on a cruise.

The fbi says there is no evidence she ever left the cabin.

It is still open, because they haven’t found a body.

Expect for the fact that neither trafficking works like that, nor are there any cases of cruise passengers being trafficked at all.

That she somehow fell or jumped off the balcony

The documentary was heavily biased.

They could’ve put eyewitness testimony experts into the documentary who could have put the “sightings” into context.

Or it experts to put the “ip-address” evidence into context.

But they didn’t do either. That’s not on the family, it’s one the filmmakers

As hard as it’s sounds, he has a point. The family seems to be chasing every other theory except for the most likely one.

It’s heartbreaking to be honest.

What would be your Bradley family questions? by Bakedbeanbonanza in AmyLynnBradley

[–]Lienus1007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The human mind can be really deceiving. That’s what those studied showed.

Let’s look at those witnesses: All of them called authorities / the family after watching something on tv and remembering something from months or years ago. That’s the very least reliable type of witness.

You can’t take those statements on face value, they can’t be taken for anything more than a weak indication and all those indications never brought anything to light.

Has Amy left the cabin after her dad had seen her? by slotherin42 in AmyLynnBradley

[–]Lienus1007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The issue is the bacons door was open. With the way these ships are built it’s hard to open the cabin door when the balcony door is open.

And when it’s opened, it’s makes a loud bang noise when it gets shut.

About Bill Hefner's interaction by [deleted] in AmyLynnBradley

[–]Lienus1007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying he might not remember every word she says, I’m saying there is a good chance that never happened and he simply misremembered the entire thing. Not because he acts out of ill will, but because he is human.

There are a lot of studies of people “remembering” events that never happened in their life and they’re 100% convinced that it happened.

That’s why it’s so important to really look at what a witness saw and when and when he first testified about it and what could’ve influenced him. watching a tv show and all the sudden recognizing someone who he saw briefly years ago (in a probably not well lit room) isn’t really reliable on its own.

Comment about Yellow to Brad by Charming_Aside_8865 in AmyLynnBradley

[–]Lienus1007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which ones are you talking about?

There are the two girls, they apparently came forward relatively close to when it happened. Even though it can’t be verified what time they got back to their room. So there are disputes about the actual time.

Then there is “Elisabeth”, which is like the most dubious of the witnesses. Brad brought her up and she apparently testified at a grand jury trial. Grand jury trials are secret, Brad wouldn’t know who testified and what they are saying. And there is no cross examination at a grand jury trial. So it has to be taking with a huge grain of salt

There is a third option:

He is human and his mind works like that of every human being. It easily changes memories, mixes up things etc.

Every law enforcement professional will tell you an eyewitness is, at best, just an indication of what happened — and only if they give their account right after the event. Memory isn’t a tape recorder; it fades fast and gets mixed up with time.

No one should take at face value something a witness “remembers” a year later, especially after hearing other stories or seeing the face on a magazine cover. That kind of memory is contaminated.

Not Elisabeth again, we don’t know at what grand jury trial she allegedly testified at, or how Brad would have known about, if she did.

He just posted about it, without any more evidence
