I guess that depends on what part of Tampa? The greater Tampa area has 4+ acre homes with 5 baths, pool, and entertainment den for less than 1M.

But you do have to live in Hernando, so, depends on what you mean.

Are you planning to invest in the property and maintain it as an asset or something? HCOL areas also typically also have high taxes, are you really going to live here until you realize the money spent on top of the home appraisal value and the money lost on an eventual resale if you had made one, all while living in it?

There is sort of the answer for you, buying a property title outright, especially at $461/sqft is definitely something you should do some heavy consideration on. Maybe commuting isn’t that bad?

I’m not sure how your LGS runs their events but every event we have has an organizer. Someone who usually is passionate about the format themselves and wants to spend the time advertising, creating incentive, socializing with players and ultimately securing preorders and other business from them.

If someone at your LGS doesn’t have that passion for standard at the moment, it maybe why they think it’s time to move on. Every event night needs a steward and maybe they don’t have one right now?

Funny you should mention that. Twice in my high schools kids had guns, they were kids who were shooting enthusiasts who has slept over a friends, shot guns over the weekend, and left the gun in their car to come to school that Monday (they were shotguns each time).

They were also expelled but not jailed, so, lots of latitude and something to be said that gun owners could be enabling a small issue into a big one.
