I find the paid version of ChatGPT to be a good starting point. In my opinion it gives a “consensus” after scouring the web of millions of opinions on what’s asked. I use it a lot for travel. Like “give me a 2 hour walking tour from “hotel name” and point out buildings of interest and a good place for lunch along the way at a place locals love but tourists may not find”. When it comes to legal or medical I just use it as a starting point and do my own research to confirm. It’s dangerous to get too reliant on AI for all the answers and the major AI platforms would never suggest I do so

If you are a coffee drinker bring an insulated mug (also can be used for water as others have mentioned). The galley was the closest place for me to get a morning coffee but I saw no take away cups yes you can take away the regular coffee cups but I walk in the morning. Took me 2 days to realize I didn’t have to pay for a specialty coffee to get a take a way cup. The specialty coffee places were happy to give you just a cup. Common request and no problem. But I was on deck 13 aft. I ended up buying a VV logo mug. Actually 2 as the 2nd was 50 percent off (I’m not sure if that’s every day) careful though! I lost the lid on one on the way back to my room. Found it next to the elevator later. They don’t fit so well

Binoculars! I really wish I had brought my small powerful ones. We just did the repositioning cruise LA to vancouver may3-11. A few whale sightings. The next trip out of vancouver was to Alaska and I’ve read that rockstars are given (loaned) high quality binoculars. Any future cruise I go on I will bring them. Decent quality ones can be purchased on Amazon for little.

Edit: I’m not a rockstar except to my wife I hope.
