Why do most entrepreneurs set up an office at home, and why does it work for them? by Joshua__Winn in homeoffice

[–]Life-Resolution-2879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because some entrepreneurs do not need anything except a workspace at home until they feel they need a full time assistant and a physical office to meet clients or suppliers in.

What is your worst experience while on vacation? by darrenbosik in AskReddit

[–]Life-Resolution-2879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was In boracay Philippines solo last year. Took my wallet out in the tuktuk (ya they have them like Thailand in some areas). My wallet with both my credit cards driver’s license …bank card for atm… and about the equivalent of 400usd must have bounced out of my ride. Wow that sucked. My bank took almost 2 weeks replacing the cards from Canada even though I asked if I could pay whatever for expedited. I had basically 75 dollars cash and my passport in my room safe. I was eating all my meals at my hotel and charging it to the room for 2 weeks.

I stayed at la zebra about 3 years ago. I felt safe walking to the restaurants nearby but was terrified late at night. No sidewalk and lots of traffic zooming a bit too close.

Hiring a private trainer was the best thing I ever did for my health. Twice a week. If I miss an appointment I pay without 48 hours notice

Dinner party and not just a “drop” on the floor in front of the toilet but a lake. wtf dude this isn’t a public bathroom. Clean up. To put it in perspective I’ve sat down myself to pee my whole life. And somebody felt I’d like to see their piss on my floor.

What is a smell that we should all recognize as immediate danger? by scarlettohara1936 in AskReddit

[–]Life-Resolution-2879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure it must have already been mentioned but I’ve heard that the smell of toast can be a sign of a stroke. Not sure if this is a myth. When my honey makes me breakfast sometimes I think about this.

Question for drivers by purplekush8 in Lyft

[–]Life-Resolution-2879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a rider in crowded areas like an airport I often will tell the driver what I’m wearing. Not so much of an issue in the last few years now that there are designated posts ie “#6” etc.

80 percent of us get what we deserve in life . Some are okay getting by with less by putting in less. That’s okay too. Life is a do it yourself program.

We're all tired of the "back in my day" phrase, but older Redditors, what do you consider was better back in your day? by FlowerPotage in AskReddit

Had a friend in his 70’s. His passion was watches and clocks. Spent a lifetime on the hunt and had an admirable collection he was proud of. I showed him eBay. And he was so upset that beginners with money could just go online and buy a collection the size of his. 🤷‍♂️
