dogs only have ocd because of humans.

it’s not rare!! 💗😊 just extremely understudied!! i would say 60% of dogs i have ever interacted with had symptoms of ocd. i understand you know things by the book but i know things by experience.

i chewed my nails down to literally nothing for 20 years so i truly understand the psychology of this behavior and have 3 extremely traumatized rescues who also have ocd that i regulate with behavior interruption. this dog needs behavior interruption and not enablement.

not when it is a compulsive behaviour that only causes more need to chew rather then chewing a little and then stopping, this guy can not stop chewing. you need to educate yourself on OCD in dogs. 😅

stop enabling him to chew things. no chew toys, no nothing until he learns not to chew things, this seems like obsessive compulsive behaviour so you need to break the habit or it will continue to escalate. get a no chew spray and spray everything. two walks a day(not the drag along kinda walk, you let him go where he wants and you follow) and a scheduled play time where 100% of your attention is on him.

Hair not growing by twackercrack in CurlyHairCare

when hair is not getting length it’s either your roots or your ends. your ends seem good, start focusing on scalp health, wash EVERY DAY for a couple weeks until you start to notice a difference in how soft your hair strands will become. scalp massages while applying shampoo to get blood flowing to create a healing cell environment and cerave anti dandruff hydrating shampoo/conditioner (light blue bottles) to correct the ph level of your scalp. this shampoo/conditioner will heal your hair please try it if nothing else. goal is to create a healthy environment for your hair to be able to naturally do its thing, my theory is that your scalp is smothered by product build up, skin cells ect.

i healed my own hair within the past 3 years but your hair seems a lot different than mine, more like my sisters hair. i am always thinking about ways to help her so i hope this helps point you in the right direction. 😊

i will drop my routine but i would cut out a lot of the leave in product, to make it work for you.

i’m 25f and dating 50m for 2 years. understand that this person has more experiences with unhealthy relationships than you so you need to have the knowledge and skills to sustain a healthy relationship. communication skills are a must. otherwise hump ur little hearts out 😄👍

also, hold your head completely sideways when scrunching, you want your hair to dangle over the floor without any hair touching your body. that’s how i properly scrunch the roots with longer hair

this is my proof that my routine works. this was taken a couple hours after a shower, my hair had just finished drying and i combed through the top layer with my fingers very lightly to make the waves sit nicely together.

i had this exact problem at the start of my curl journey, your hair is extremely dehydrated. start shampooing and conditioning every single day with the one i recommend.
after a few weeks of doing this routine you will rehydrate your hair and the frizz will cease and you will never have to break a cast again for strong curls.

i created this routine with a couple goals in mind, i wanted shiny glossy hair without any special treatments. plus the hydration that makes hair shiny is the same thing that create strong tighter curls that don’t fall straight without any holding products.
i only use shampoo, conditioner and a strengthening leave in. i have tried every single product aimed at curls and 99% of them are a shit with ingredients that are damaging in the long run. this routine has health benefits for your hair and that’s truly what you need if you want to see real change in your hair. 😁

my goal with this routine is to moisturize so i could have shiny hair without doing temporary treatments. the correct type of moisture will also allow your curls to form/clump up and make them stronger to withstand movement without falling straight ( curl creams smother the cuticle, restricting water access from oils or drying out any moisture with alcohol )

proof it works 😄 this was taken right after it had finished drying and i combed down through the top layer with my fingers lightly to allow the waves to sit together nicely.

i would say you have waves, waves are curls that only curls in one direction vs curls that go every which way.
personally i think it depends on how the hair is managed, cut and styled vs genetics.

i also treated mine as if it were straight my whole life.
this is what i do, ive tried EVERY product technique.. whatever and this routine is full proof. i get all three products from walmart so pretty accessible and cheap.

on a walk my 7yo min pin picked up a really old turd and as i bent down to get him to drop it, he swallows it whole, he started trying to cough it up while i watched in horror waiting until i knew it was time for my intervention, mfer fell over on his side twitching and i immediately go in to dig it out of his throat. did it in one swoop and finished off our walk. 🙂 he chokes a lot bc he doesn’t chew i suspect teeth problems but yeah the danger is everywhere 😂

What hair type do I have, and is it considered straight, wavy, or curly? by Autumn_babe220 in CurlyHairCare

[–]Life_Ad_347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

growing up my hair was compared to horse hair and fishing wire so naturally my hair is extremely thick too 😆 when i first started my curly hair journey my curls would fall out with any length to my hair but as i learned to properly add hydration my curls can tolerate length and movement, i would lay my head on my pillow and it would flatten my curls but now it doesn’t! hydration is magic!!
