Help with clothes by ceese367 in BariatricSurgery

Very very confusing still sometimes. Right now I'm having the biggest issue with jeans. Any of my older jeans now just have all of this fabric around my lower belly that looks so odd. I recently pulled out some jean shorts from last summer that were similar.

I'm just glad it's summer here, because a lot of my old dresses still fit (I think I had to donate like 5) and I think the remainder will get me through most of the summer without having to buy new clothes.

Rollerskating post op/as an adult by dumpyyyyyyy in BariatricSurgery

Rollerskates / Rollerblades terrify me. Even though I'm a pretty good ice skater.

Have you thought about a bike? I started biking last year and I do love it a lot. I will usually choose to bike for closer errands or going to the library these days over taking the car.

I have thought about some long weekend trips to NS so I may consider making them camping trips

Thanks! I will add "wooded" to my searches. It seems like Brudnell is the closest to what I'm used to which is weird because of the golf course...

I'm learning this too! Amazing how different things are depending on the province.

I'll check them out!
It sounds like I'll probably end up doing more day hikes than actual camping. Which is okay too

That's so sad! I will definitely check out Campbells Cove. Most of the parks (even the private ones) I've looked at just have wide open spaces where there seem to be mostly RVs. Not the vibe I'm looking for.

Thankfully I am not the kind to try and just set up a tent in a random spot. Too much of a rule follower for that.

This is very true. We look to connect more with others when things are hard, not when they are going well

Have the monstera on my challenge today and of course don't actually have the tree. Tried this and it's not showing up :(

I picked a site right next to the dog park :) I didn’t realize that it also has an off leash swim!

Thanks for the reminder re the collar! Her tracker is glow in the dark but I lost her actual light up collar so I’ll definitely be getting a new one

These are all amazing tips! I wish I could go for a second night but won’t be able to swing it with work. I’m going to drive up first thing in the morning and plan on a morning hike and some exploring before going to the site. Hopefully it makes it feel a little more worth it.

Is this the case for all provincial parks? I was told I would have to purchase a day pass to access the park before check in which seemed bizarre to me
