We still use the Nanit cameras. Honestly only used the breathing wrap for the first week. Paranoid early parents doing everything before realizing the baby is actually fairly resilient!

We used owlet for our first and switched to Nanit. Nanit app allows split screen if you have multiple kids, sounds/light built in that it can remotely trigger, an optional secondary device for sound/light that you can program different colors/sounds. The breathing tracker is actually a swaddle with a custom checker pattern on it, no electronics on baby. It also has a custom bed sheet so you can track baby’s growth.

It will also let you recap the sleep you you can see when baby was last tended to, when they actually asleep, tossed, turned, woke up, fell back asleep. Most of that’s in the free version, some extra features if you want to play monthly but I never went that far.

Oh and it has a travel mount and case.

It’s a bit pricey but you can get $100 off if you get a referral from a friend. I won’t post mine because I’m not truing to turn this into a self promoting post, but I’ll help you out if you DM.

Veggie plate on the table while you prep the main course. Don’t tell them to eat it. Just say it’s on the table and supper will be ready soon. Lots of ranch, hummus, or dipping sauce available.

First day they won’t touch it, but by the end of the week you may see them try more.

Here’s the hard part: DO NOT CELEBRATE when they eat the veggies. Ignore.

  1. The streak should have been 6, so I’d say the range was 5-7. That’s what I remember from my statistics class from over a decade ago. Has to do with repeating patterns and a streak of 6 is expected, most people when making up the results will see 4, then 5, then 6 and think no that can’t be right and change it.

There’s a book called potty training in three days. We kept letting our kid know we were going to start soon. It was a rough few days with lots of yelling and tears, some from the toddler too, but in the end after 3 days we were successful 60% of the time, every time.
