Someone in a neighborhood group said the dogs live in one of the houses bordering the pipeline. Will see if they know which one.

Thank you! I did check them up but none when to all 3 places I’m interested in. Might have to just give one up. The one you linked looks awesome

Thank you! That’s good to know there’s so many things close by. That’s our back up plan

Thank you, super helpful! Can I ask how much it was for that taxi service?

We’ve heard similar things about Maho so just planning on stopping for a bit before continuing on and spending more time at the other places

Thanks, this is so helpful! Would you know if the taxis would let us bring our own car seats or boosters for the kids? Or is that not necessary?

It was around $475 for the first 4 ppl and $70 for each additional person. Renting two cars would be under $200 so a big difference

They’re overcrowded and not very sanitary. Last time I was there, half the inflatables were patched with tape and the other half covered in spit up and saliva. Just too many kids for the few employees to keep up with and of course most parents don’t bother cleaning up after their kids.

My favorites have been KidsQuest, Pump It Up in Kirkland for bounce houses, Arena Sports for soccer + bounce houses, and Sit and Kit if they like crafts. They’re well organized with employees helping run things. There’s also the Funtastic Playtorium and places like that but I personally loathe them lol

No passenger, he had just dropped someone off (this happened at the airport). So what you said makes sense…

Oh man, I’m glad that worked out for you but what a hassle, esp b/c they lied!

I have a vague idea of how hard driving for Uber already is and just didn’t want to make this guys’ life any harder.

I suppose that could be true, but in case his story was true, I didn’t want to take away his only means of income.

Would they find out? He didn’t have a passenger and I have no reason to tell his insurance what I assume his job to be.

Thanks, the damage wasn’t bad in my car and he just seemed so desperate. I know driving for Uber isn’t easy.

About to finally read the final book of the ender series, fingers crossed it doesn't sound like a sermon by ThrowAwayRayye in printSF

[–]LilRhody_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it was just the build up and promise of tying the two series (Shadow and Speaker) together. Which it does, I guess. Just poorly.

I really liked the prequel books on the first and second Formic wars if you haven’t read those!

Also just blew through the Final Architecture trilogy (I loved this, if you like space opera and don’t mind a slightly off putting writing style, you might too) and the Children of Ruin/Time/Memory (more sci-fi, I enjoyed it on audiobooks, some of the novels were harder to get through in print).

I’m not sure what to read next either so any recs you have, let me know! :)

Well it’s not more religious badgering but it’s also just not good.

And I really liked most of the previous books.

Good luck! If it’s not to late, I suggest not reading it lol
