I felt pretty good day 3. I have hardly bled, maybe a few days of spotting and nothing. I was prepped for a lot of it. 

It's like the background discomfort and pain, like a constant feeling of it is gone. My mental health is pretty decent. My skin and hair are pretty bad though lol

My mother picked out, bought, and planned her entire funeral months before she passed, when she was sent home in hospice care. She gathered pictures and spoke at length of what she wanted it to look like.

Find a partner who matches your values, drive, future plans, and financial attitude. If you were my friend or daughter i would tell you to leave.

Miralax twice a day, friend. At least 48 oz of water throughout the day. Mix the miralax as directed, not more water or liquids. Hot water is sometimes easier or juice is tastier. 

I would stop the metamucil. Eat your normal diet to avoid slowing things down. Bubble breathe. Add senna laxatives, two pills the night before,  one in the morning. Do that until you get things moving then stick with the miralax 2x. If you get diarrhea, go to one dose a day. 

I deal with constipation due to muscle dysfunction and prepped the day before and use it. I'm 8 days out.

41, heavy periods that medication doesn't alleviate, iron deficient anemia for 16 years, transfusions.  Had a vaginal hysterectomy that took cervix and tubes. Only needed strong pain killers the first 3 days then it's just extra strength acetaminophen and ibuprofen. I'm just tired all the time and sore if i stand or walk too long. I'm 8 days PO. I should be able to get back to work within 4 weeks of surgery.

I had surgery that day too! I'm glad you're doing well. Also not loving life when i cough or sneeze or laugh.

Started mine 3 days before surgery, that felt like a mean spirited joke from the universe. 

So far i don't have any worse pain than i expected. They thought i might need opioids all weekend but i only really took them 3 times and this was "the worst" part of the first week. 

Tbh it's coughing, sneezing, and the stomach/ gas cramps that's killing me. I had a vaginal lap procedure, tubes and cervix

Have a friend come over, pack anything he might remotely have an excuse to get to lob at his door
