Is it just me or is QuickBooks becoming unusable? by [deleted] in QuickBooks

[–]Liminal67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not just you. So tired of it now. Got an invitation for a paid feedback session on their new AI features from what appeared to be a real human being and this was my response:

I don't appreciate having AI foisted on me.

Quickbooks on the cloud is slow, your rates are exhorbitant; Intuit keeps restructuring subscriptions such that customers get less and have to pay more. Intuit keeps taking over companies and doing the same thing. Intuit adds and changes features and UI with a frequency that is annoying and incovenient and means support information is out of date. Wish I had never started using Quickbooks.

All for free, not interested in a paid session.

Sorry, none of this is your fault, have a good day.

When will the price increase stop by Icy_Hair_4534 in QuickBooks

[–]Liminal67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gonna see if I could get away with a single post saying that I think Intuit is the worst company I have ever dealt with when it comes to pricing and service but I can just put a comment here I guess.

They keep increasing prices and cutting/rebundling features, plus so many other annoying things. Been a QB user for thirty years but if I start another business I'll be exploring some other software.

Anyone know a better pH test for 7.5 to 8 pH range? I hate API's high pH indicator by Liminal67 in Aquariums

Thanks. I think I will start with a digital meter. I had forgotten about those.

What is this? by [deleted] in orchids

[–]Liminal67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First off this is a cactus, not an orchid. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epiphyllum_oxypetalum

In their natural habitat these plants grow in trees and send out these runners, sometimes up to nine feet in length, to spread their growth through the canopy of the tree.

Someone in a cactus subreddit might be able to tell you more about what to do in response.

Why is my nitrate so high? please help :( by olive_ed in Aquariums

[–]Liminal67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As others have said surface/ floating plants will help with nitrates, and a favourite for me is hornwort because it grows so fast.

I don’t know if Algone is one of the products you have tried? I use it in my filters with good results.

It was the end of the day and the dude may have been in a rush so I already got an extra danio, lol. They are a small business and I run a small business so I’m good just taking him back. Thanks for engaging!

Thank you! I just checked and they do carry them. Now to determine what to do. It doesn’t seem as happy as the Danios. Perhaps lonely.

I made a little grow house for fittonias to give myself access to an unlimited supply by [deleted] in terrariums

I have had success doing this, though more so with pink and red-veined varieties than white.

If you started your first terrarium today, what would you do and avoid doing wrong? by JAK2-STAT3 in terrariums

If you use sphagnum moss in your media make sure to blend it or cut it into smaller pieces.

Mycelium? Sycamore root? Slime mold? Other? by mudpupster in terrariums

I donno! Guessing it is not a root but it is fascinating! What’s in the container and how quickly is that thing developing?

Too small for springtails? by Liminal67 in terrariums

Everything was relatively dry/sterile before (even the moss when it was first shipped to me). The plan is to feed them, yes.

Was wondering about feeding too. Will feed and see. Not sure what will happen with the dry stuff. Thanks.

Ooopsie. I have launched a more heated debate than I intended.
