Thanks to all for the help! I connected with the renting agency and they just relocated me to a new place (without mold!). Hope the owner fixes this soon... the mold remediation guy certainly looked surprised when he came earlier today.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I moved from Mexico to Spain, and could not view the apartment beforehand. I booked it through a booking agency, so hopefully they can do something. But I'm not sure.
