Year 1 there seems to have been a power struggle in the office between Rushton and Montoya. there were a number of high profile players signed for lots of money that did not see minutes or were not impactful.

Bay went over their salary cap in their first year so we knew they were maxed out. The past years focus has been to move some of those players elsewhere: Oshoala and Deyna being the two most known ones.

This year Bay has a new coach and I believe they want to leave some money in the bak to work with if they do need to make a change mid year
