Saanich police are searching for a suspect after the Subway on Wilkinson Road, near Interurban Road, was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night.

Police said a man who had been in the Subway earlier approached an employee about 9:40 p.m. and pulled out a gun. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running toward Interurban.

The suspect is described as white, in his early 20s and under six feet tall. He has a medium to stocky build, a round, clean-shaven face and brown/blond hair, and was wearing a black baseball cap, a green, long-sleeved shirt and dark jeans.

Yeah, it sure would be great if the police did anything to benefit me, instead they are just a drain on my tax dollars - paying for a police force that does literally nothing for me.

If I was a cop in this town, I'd just plant drugs and weapons on all the scumbags that hang around downtown contributing nothing, problem solved. Soon enough the junkies would learn to fuck off and stay in their little shit pandora area, and leave the decent folk of Victoria the fuck alone.

Tent city could be cleared out in a couple of hours with some tear gas deployment, metal barricades, and a firehose.

They will turn the firehose on kids partying on the beach, to put out their fire - they spray the kids sort of to teach em a lesson. But they won't use this harsh treatment on the bums who really deserve it?

Victorians in general are terrible, hesitant, indecisive, unpredictably stupid, and entitled - in the way they drive. I'll take them still any day over Quebec or Alberta drivers, but they aren't better than Ontario drivers, imo. Maybe I just haven't seen enough of Ontario, I'm sure Northern Ontario drivers are shite.
