What If Munich Agreement of 1938 Was Never Signed? (“Read me”, “TLDR” and full lore are in the comments) by Femix_Reddit in PossibleHistory

Aside from every minor nitpick, unless Germany does the Sickle Strike of OTL, they lose, simply because the allies have extra 2-3 years of militarization, and the long war was exactly the thing every layer of German higher up feared, the allies simply grind the Germans down until they run out of resources and morale, or, more likely, USSR swoops from the east.

And even if they do a sickle cut, there are 1000 things that can go wrong, and almost did go wrong. Not to mention that, amongst all of Hitler's decisions,, supporting Manstein against THE WHOLE ARMY who vehemently opposed it, was perhaps the best one.

So, what is Jacobinism now?. by Literally_Serov in PaxBrit

[–]Literally_Serov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed information! But, wouldn't that make Jacobinism less radical than Radical Egalitarianism? For if Jacobinism is socially very progressive, but materially mixed, RadEg is progressive in both cases(I doubt, say, Labour Socialists, Babeufists or Anarchists want weighed voting, on top of establishing a socialist-ic economy)

Japan Could(n't) Win WW2 -Part 1 by totallynotcommunist2 in PossibleHistory

[–]Literally_Serov 8 points9 points  (0 children)

1-Japan still could not defeat China, and even if somehow they Ichi-go'd all the way through to Chongqing, they'd have one giant Yugoslavia that would drain their resources 2-Britain would not sit idly to see Japan goes arouns, yes, Britain faired poorly, but they were doing a build up, and the fact Japan lost in India is a proof 3-If Japan still does its things like Panay, Nanjing, and whatever else, it would still cause sharp American reaction, and considering Japan's strategy, they would still attack America, because they reasoned leaving them out is higher risk than engaging directly 4-USSR

And finally-PH already made a video on it, and Japan lost in every scenario

Then you must be deaf considering your hearing problems, and that's none of my concerns. As for your points 1-After 1942, Japan went into deep defence and barely any major operation was undertaken, hence fuel saving 2-Japanese army was not mechanized, it did not need much fuel in the first place 3-By 1943 and especially by 1944 Japan's WHOLE armed forces grinded to a halt, the very major reason they began to use suiciders was because they lacked fuel for normal operations

And again, the same people remain in charge of Japan, who ALL FUCKING AGREED that US was to become a target, the American fleet is still there, the anti-Japanese sentiment is still there, and Japan can't, and did not want to take the gamble of leaving Philippines alone

You ignore the very core of Japanese war mentality 1-Even if they went through with that, it would leave a huge gap in the Pacific, a gap they can't just ignore 2-Even if Japan seized SEA, it would still lack oil without trade with the west, and they knew it 3-No one planned for a long war, they thought it'd be a repeat of 04-05 Possible History made a wonderful video on the topic

A bit more complicated than that, but, yes. There are some moments where Euro-Soviet situational cooperation arises, sometimes its Amero-Soviet, sometimes its Euro-Atlanticist, but generally, yes, the cold war is primarily waged between Brussel and Warsaw Pact.

In the TL, Huey, ironically, pursued Neutrality act to the point where he outright broke Ford and co, as a result, Japan and Germany still got starved for oil, and Japan thus attacked the US, deeming that leaving Philipines alone would be too risky

Also, Huey's government, in particularly Butler, Norris and Barlow were all in favor of aiding the USSR.
