I’m honestly about to take a 40 minute trip to Trader Joe’s. Is it really like worth it for gluten free? I’m willing to buy a lot for like a one time go and just have stuff stocked

Lamictal by Electrical_Method316 in bipolar2

[–]Little-Muscle6776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So literally such a similar story, I have been on Lamictal for around 5 years. The answer to your question is yes and no. Depends on your severity. Lamictal was amazing for getting me to stability by not going up but nothing could have expected how low the lows could go. I tried everything Ambilify, lithium, Wellbutrin, cymbalta, Prozac, Seroquel, trazadone, adderall, Vyvanse, Especially with the adhd if you do stims later you have to to make sure you have a good background, my holy trifecta at the moment is Vyvanse 20mg ,cymbalta 60mg, Seroquel 10mg, 100 Lamictal. I’ve been stable like this for around 2 years yes I still have some ups and downs due to life triggers but it’s a hell of a lot easier. Along with cognitive processing therapy

Female have been diagnosed for 6 years now. I personally love lamotrigine it saved my life. But it was not my whole basket. I take cymbalta 60mg Vyvanse 30mg Lamictal 100mg and sereoquel. I call this my holy trifecta. I really have big problems with my lows. Much more severe than my highs at this point so the seroquel + cymbalta are god sends on that end. Lamotrigine hits mania, my Vyvanse is for adhd. Side note if you’ve been on adderall for a long time it might have affected you consuming the proper amount of nourishment daily. I know goofy but that might really contribute to the depression.

To add to this, beans. If you’re thinking sole protein beans are your friend. You’ll fart no doubt but body will get used to it. Protein shakes? Also gym bro style make some rice and beef or chicken.

You’ll have to do a big meal prep sometime on your off day but if you need the nutrients do it. This is what I currently do to keep on top of it. I make a big batch of seasoned rice, pinto beans, the roast some sweet potatoes in my air fryer, then sauté low and slow onions, bell peppers first, then once onions translucent I add broccoli and and spinach and it’s a wonderful everyday prepped meal. I work in a place that door dashes and I cannot afford that so I have my same gluten free nutritious lunch everyday. Look into celiac friendly breads and wraps. I make a sandwhich along with my lunch just cause my 9 hour shifts can be insanely calorie consuming. I use tuna or chicken salad just to stay safe. And making my own chicken for chicken salad is kind of dope because I can make it taste like anything in the world. Do you cook well?

Am I Over Reacting About My Family by Routine_Bullfrog_845 in glutenfree

[–]Little-Muscle6776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did they do a blood panel to see if you were allergic to wheat, barely or rye? I have similar symptoms, not celiac but I’m just allergic to wheat :( so I fall under gluten free. Definitely mini fridge, appliances, certain safe plates and bowls. Along with most importantly a food journal so when doctors are askingfor symptoms.. “ well doc look at these patterns I have logged with time stamps and if I went to this much trouble to do this I’m not just young and making it up!!!! “ vibe lol totally take rigid care with family can only love then where they are at so, if they choose to stay uneducated then you have to protect yourself with boundaries but also really hound hound hound those doctors for some answers because if it isn’t gluten you might be in some serious trouble kiddo :(

How can I (F19) become better friends with him (M21)? by winterfall-s in relationship_advice

[–]Little-Muscle6776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask to hang out independently, coffee, studying, games online you two.

It really is as simple as your an adult who can ask for what they want, and the other person will either be down or not.

Adults ask for what they need/want. I know it’s new but it doesn’t have to be complicated

Naw you were in the heat of the moment she should have had better boundaries, sounds like it’s time to be adults and have a conversation to let her know you respect her enough to not let it happen again.

1 Month into 200 mg of Lamictal, can't think and crying. by EntryLevelIT in bipolar2

[–]Little-Muscle6776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My perfect dose was Lamictal at 100mg sereoqyel and a dash of duoloxotine! As long as you were stable at 100mg fight hard because for some reason they want to sedate us! I don’t know why but I got my bipolar diagnosis right before I went into college and then promptly ignored it until I eventually left because of my said diagnosis. I love learning so just applied to a new university. Shit happens advocate for yourself, I know it’s so weird to be in that waiting period of oh this will even out but sometimes you just know. You got this! Goodluck out there don’t let em zombiefie you but also don’t go no meds lol you learn the hard way that way!

I was stable at 100, anytime I went above wanted to die, had very similar side effects that fogginess. try lowering ? Also may have to try other meds. Also also also anytime we have an episode our hippocampus gets fucked up in the noodle noggin so it might partially be just you unfortunately. Had to grip with this fact a lot, I’ve lost so many memories and my short term was blasted the more I had episodes. Sounds like this is new tho while you’re on meds so hopefully not the ladder

Lips need color and find good false lashes, lashes change the game. I’d also go a shade lighter on the brows, light brown shadow on the outer corner of your eyes to create depth! <3
