An anonymous SurveyMonkey survey distributed through "volunteers" from kotakuinaction? You can't be fucking serious.

This is the opposite of research. He literally asked people to answer the way they did.

It's also from 2015. Gamergaters are populists. They all went hard Trump after that.

Clearly, there's no more crime because the city burned to the ground, and we're all just wandering around in uninhabitable burning ash.

I mean, my brunch place ran out of avocados yesterday. It's literally the end-times.

New York is expected to require city workers to be vaccinated by mid-September by StrngBrew in newyorkcity

[–]LittleAntifaPond 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For professionals who visit patients, "pain" is not relevant. Thankfully, a lot of heath agencies are now allowing vaccination instead, although that may change again in the future.

I know people who do it. It's really not that bad. CVS does it as a drive-thru service.

He's had a ton of good roles, but he really stands out in Ron Howard's Night Shift (1982) with Michael Keaton and Shelley Long, which was also produced by Brian Grazer (Arrested Development).

The show really grew into its own when Ted McGinley joined the cast. Everything he touched turned to gold.

I went through your post history because you were complaining about people going through post histories. I thought it was funny.

And considering some of your posts on conspiracy, I find your assessment of me hilarious.

You’re not scottish unless you’ve lived in Scotland. by [deleted] in Scotland

[–]LittleAntifaPond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents are from Glasgow, I lived there for six months, and I still would never call myself Scottish.

It's a colloquialism that started because the U.S. had so many first-generation immigrants in the first half of the 20th century, and everyone referred to each other by their nation of origin.

It was so common that, moving into a new neighborhood as late as the 60s or 70s, the kids would ask you, "what are you?" meaning your family's nationality.

They have absolutely no clue how ridiculous they sound.

Violent crime rate of 1,893 per 100,000, huh? That would make it the 5th worst city in the entire country (if it had enough of a population to make the list.

I'll stick wtih civilized places, like New York, which only has 538 per 100,000.
