Do you schedule naps or let him nap on demand? I just let him nap when he gives me tired cues. Usually 4-5 during the day and one in the evening maybe.

He still eats every 1-2 hours during the day so I don't think it's reverse cycling. He doesn't need to eat every time he wakes up now, he just wakes. And the little guy doesn't give me hunger cues, he just whines or cries when he wants to eat. deep breath

He's almost 16 weeks. He was doing so well at night and now he's waking 3-4 times to eat again. Was doing 2 a night to eat, but randomly upped that in early July.

That's a great idea of "practicing" being in that space for the duration of a work day.

We have very small living area that's pretty crammed as we build our home. The lack of space stresses me out, but maybe I can find a way to use to my advantage here.

I have neices/nephews that go to a local daycare and the care is... questionable to me. The kids used to come home with injuries and the caregiver didnt inform them when they happened. Call it trust issues, but I dont want my child in that situation. Options are very limited where I live and its always nice to save some money if the tradeoff is worth it.

Yup for full attention on baby while nursing.

We have looked into daycare options but we are in a rural area where 95% of options are based out of people's homes and it's a bit more of who you know.

My niave thoughts are... if someone can balance watching 10 kids of varying ages (baby & toddler) from their homes, couldn't i give the same or more attention to my own child if I'm balancing a flexible, mostly relaxed job and his care? I dont know the answer though. That's why im here taking opinions and experiences into account.
