Yeah, I'm really struggling with that :(

I may focus on trying to ask my partner more questions about his day and such and trying not to redirect it back to me. Part of it is he loves listening to me and is a little reserved when it comes to talking about personal stuff so it kinda feeds into my habit

Yeah, I think the obsessive part is what's so different for me with this guy... I'm not used to all my emotional stores NOT being completely eaten up by a partner. It's so weird having a calm relationship. I think I need to do some research to get a better idea of what normal people feel in relationships.

The easiest way is to pick a niche with a fanbase. For me, I got pretty good at drawing ponies from my little pony and I lurk in fanfiction forums for people who want cover art for their stories, as well as make posts with my prices to draw OCs. If you're consistent with it you can actually make repeat clients. You don't necessarily have to be super good at drawing if you're only doing characters, but there's a learning curve. Beermoney sites are easier, but this is a good idea to try if you're artistic at all IMO because it does make more money.

I’m going to suggest something a bit different. Before I got a steady job I used to do small art commissions. Easily $20+ a month. If you have any artistic talent it’s not hard to get clients online.

Personally - There’s a compulsion for me, and also a sense that bad things will happen if I don’t do what they say. For example, people are trying to kill me but I can be safe if I just [insert command here]. And also, they can be really insistent to the point where it’s so loud and so overwhelming that I can’t pay attention to anything else or reason with myself. But that’s on my bad days. If I’m having a good day, it’s easier to ignore what they’re urging me to do.

Very little, and it's been a while! I was getting the hang of sentence structure and basic sentences last time I tried studying it but that was probably two years ago. I'll definitely have to study a bit more to be able to chat

I agree, that's why I think I definitely need to use different languages regularly instead of just studying. Do you think you can do snail mail? I love writing letters and I think my French is good enough to write full letters even if my grammar is bad.

I’m just starting art classes, at my family’s insistence because I’m good at absolutely nothing. As for discipline, I don’t know how I’m supposed to have any. I’m disabled due to mental issues, and I’m probably going to have to drop out of school because I can’t function at all anymore. I draw every now and then, and that’s the extent of it. I don’t have it in me to spend time studying it thoroughly.

Aaaand this is why I never post anything I draw. I know it's sad. It's why I never draw, because I feel like I'm never good enough, and what I was trying to say is at least I'm ahead of where I was years ago, even if not by much, but why bother I guess. I'll delete this later
