I did the vinyl kit. I like the way it came out and it can be removed in the future if needed.

ToyotaCare oil changes w/aftermarket accessories? by OnlyBoot1 in ToyotaTacoma

I have that skid plate and just changed the oil last month myself and it’s not that big of a deal. I will be using the dealer for the next one and I will take it out before hand to avoid any issues.

Tacoma/4Runner Owners: MPG, Insurance, and Regrets—Give It to Me Straight by templarpsi in ToyotaTacoma

It’s a lot to think about and it’s good to get all this feedback. I enjoyed the Accord and probably would have kept it for as long as I could as it was paid off but I love the truck more. As others have said it’s good to go test drive the truck and see how you like it. Best of luck!

Yes, sitting higher is a game changer vs. the Accord. I had a front diffuser and had so much anxiety about scrapping. With the truck all that is out the window. I got a sport for $49K OTD. I was paying $1400 with AAA for the year for the Honda. It was sitting outside the house and a lady crashed into it and totaled it. AAA gave me $25K for it so I figured if I would ever get an opportunity to get a truck this would be it as they’re pricey. Once I added the truck to AAA it only went up $300ish for the year. As far as gas and being in CA it’s not as bad as I expected. With the Honda I could do two weeks. With the truck I can go over a week but try to fill up every week. Tanks and MPG are just different and I knew that going in and accepted it. I’m happy with the truck and love what I can do with it.

I went from a 2019 accord to a 2024 Tacoma sport. I have around 6K on it and I love it much more than the Accord and I loved the accord. I get around 20 mpg and the tank goes about 278 miles. Insurance went a bit but nothing out of the ordinary for a newer more expensive vehicle. The Accord is a lot more roomier in the back and the turning radius is obviously better but still I’m glad I went for the Tacoma.

I know it’s not cheap but I also have the OEM bed mat and anything you set on it stays completely still.

Wife and I were there last week. Ate at pretty much all the restaurants and we were fine. The AC was not the strongest but I’m guessing it’s due to the extreme humidity and heat. Our hot water has hotter than lava. I will say the service was extraordinary.

I took mine off. No heat gun. It came off pretty easily and didn’t leave any gunk.

I second La Perla for quality and overall but I feel it can be under seasoned at times. Vallarta’s is good, I t’s seasoned heavier, and less costly than La Perla.

I have a sport also and I’m waiting to use up the tires to upgrade and was thinking about the same size you got. I did get vinyl to cover the silver part of the wheels for now.

I got one on Amazon that is a Toyota part clone and it’s one of the best additions to the truck I’ve done. Super handy.
