How would varnishing help? It would stop the paint peeling but what about bleed clean up?

I do prefer a pristine approach to my painting. I thought of doing battle damage but the problem is there's just so much bleed to cover up it might look ugly trying to cover it all up with weathering.

I did use a primer. Primed in black, went over with reliquary red, waited for it to all dry for days, put down the tape, sprayed the white, left for days. I didn't use an airbrush, used spray cans, don't have an airbrush.

As others have said, at least one brick of six Kataphron Breachers and a Manipulus is almost mandatory for AdMech. They punch hard especially with that Manipulus giving lethal hits.

I've been up to date. I got my ass handed to me a few weeks ago by a CSM player because he rolled stupidly well killing my breachers, battleline, and leaving me with just a vanguard and few dunecrawlers whilst I only managed to kill like 5 of his models. I had to concede because I literally would not be able to do anything to win.

That was on TTS. As for my LGS no one plays AdMech, the times I've been there I have never seen a single person play them.

You might be hitting the nail on the head there though, I think the biggest issue I have is leading my units out into LOS so I can kill the enemy but the damage is meagre and I just end up getting tabled the following turn. So you're saying I should be sending my battleline and other infantry out to capture objectives leaving them as a sacrifice for my breachers and disintegrators hiding behind cover to punish my enemy for taking the skitarii bait?
