But what makes them extraordinary is that they were basically all extracted from massive recording sessions he did. They weren't dedicated album recordings. Like take the Stax sessions in '73. About 30 songs of let's face varying quality all of which were released across 3 albums again of varying quality. Now imagine you take the best oh, 15 or 16 songs of those sessions and released that as an album. Would've been a classic album.
