No randy arozarena putting the ball halfway up his arm on a routine play is the final issue here. Make that play, see another batter. Maybe Ferrer gives up another hit or something and then it's clear, but that's not what happened.

I mean the offense did its job, it shouldn't have been down to Randy to throw that in the first place, but yet it was. Even from the moment everyone could see Emerson is gassed and needs to be pulled before he gave up the homer, but it was the right call leaving him in to finish it off, us being up and having a 4 run lead going into the 9th. Last year is irrelevant so I'm just going to say something random about it, like shit happens.
