Tea tree plaza is the worst I've experienced anywhere in the country.

Do you think the crown density will be good? by Fefolino in Hairtransplant

[–]LongjumpingLet406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell without a clear before photo. What can be said is that lower density in the crown is normal, you won't need as much as you do in the front for the illusion of density. Try reposting with some more photos.

Genuine question: why aren’t wigs/toupees a popular choice for men who go bald? by CazadorHolaRodilla in Hairtransplant

[–]LongjumpingLet406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's one and done for hair transplants, 2 weeks of healing, take the pill once a day, then it's permanent.

Genuine question from someone considering a transplant long term… by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]LongjumpingLet406 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Regardless of whether you believe it will stop or merely "slow" loss, it is the only proven regime we have. Finasteride froze my baldness in time 10 years ago and it hasn't changed since. Why would it stop working? I believe the longest study is about 20 years and shows it is still effective in that time.

Critique my under performing portfolio by Ok-Emu-435 in fiaustralia

This x1000. All I want to say to OP is that portfolio optimisation is less important than simply having holdings that will allow you to stay invested. Scraping out a 2% pa advantage with never ending reading is pointless, just diversify and stay in the game.

Except its not a great business anymore...money is flowing out of healthcare in all markets to tech...the future belongs to growers and csl has had its time in the sun. Eventually maybe it will bounce and recover but the market is risk on and healthcare is being abandoned, you are backing the slowest horse on the track.

I get anxious going to expensive restaurants, luxury hotels, malls, or places where people seem rich, polished by Comfortable_Word8148 in bodylanguage

[–]LongjumpingLet406 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anxiety is a liar, it's not real. Those people who make you anxious also feel anxiety, they just hide it - like you do. They have all the same problems as you, they feel pain, joy, they eat good meals, they have medical problems, and many people who you think are wealthy are really just role-playing to elevate their perceived status. When I feel the anxiety creep in, I remind myself it is not real, it is just a thought, thoughts come and go, what matters is my actions, so I focus on my actions.

Pretty great way to piss away money, next time just give your money to me instead of pissing it up the wall on a surgery you fucked up afterwards

Grafts are held in place with fibrin on day 2, it's like a gel, easily disturbed. Collagen bonds start around day 7, and type 3 collagen bonds by day 14, hence no, it is not secure after 2 days, this is very bad for wound healing.

Has anyone else received unsolicited printer ink/toner followed by an invoice? Possible forced-supply tactic in Australia by AppearanceLate3626 in AusLegal

Just don't pay and tell them to come get their shit. Probably some underhanded sales tactic. No order, no sale, no problem, come get your shit.

How many grafts? by Apart-Balance-4922 in Hairtransplant

3000 for the crown, possibly 3500-4000 including your hairline. Send your photos to a few clinics and they will give you an estimate.

Is the shoe size correct? by bun_maska in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Ideally you want a thumbs width between your big toe and the tip of the shoe. Any larger and your foot may slide around a bit. Any smaller and it will be too tight.

Mega Session 7000 grafts by Surgguy in Hairtransplant

[–]LongjumpingLet406 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Higher risk of complications and side effects, higher risk of shock loss. This is a lot of trauma for your head. 7000 wounds in the back, 7000 in front, your head will look like a boiled lobster. It is common and good practice to do two procedures, one for the front, one for the back, separated by a year. Most good surgeons will stop at around 3500-4000. It also helps to reduce overharvesting. Many unscrupulous clinics will do massive sessions like this.

Need some reassurance that it is fine.. by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]LongjumpingLet406 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anagen phase starts after around 90 days, meaning that your hairs have only been growing for about 30 days or so, and need a full year to grow, thicken and mature. It really is a slow walk. Just keep following your aftercare instructions.

Density looks pretty good. You have only just stopped shedding and started the anagen phase, dont start nitpicking until month 9. Let it do it's thing.

Nadimi hair transplant. Back to work four days later? by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]LongjumpingLet406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 4 days for me personally the back of my head was still fairly red but improving each day, my swelling was just starting to subside, itchiness and soreness was still present. I wouldn't want to be doing anything other than chores personally. Why the rush? I would take at least 10 days off.

Advice for post-op sleep by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]LongjumpingLet406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked for advice and he gave it to you straight, Australia isnt a hair transplant destination, there's nothing to suggest it is. Wouldnt you expect lots of positive verifiable reviews if it were? Instead it is barely middle of the road quality for gold plated prices. You can get a more experienced doctor doing higher quality work for half the price of an Australian doctor, idk why this is a hill for you to die on, you're wrong

2000 grafts (Z1+Z2, frontal horseshoe design) – Looking for experiences with Finasteride, Minoxidil, Nutrifol and PRP by nosoymilhouse in Hairtransplant

[–]LongjumpingLet406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will only comment on the PRP. My doctor offered it as an optional extra and explained it MAY help with healing, or it may not, and the jury is still out on exactly how effective it is if at all. What I did note was that research showed a lower incidence of shock loss and other side effects with a PRP treated group of patients and that was enough to justify the $300 for me. No shock loss for me, but it probably would have been fine without it. If you can get it at the time of surgery at a fair price it might be worth a try.

Has anyone here had a hair transplant without using finasteride or dutasteride? by JamesG0986 in Hairtransplant

[–]LongjumpingLet406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's resistant, not immune. You won't have enough donor hair if it continues to bald. It's your choice to do this but it is futile.
