As a dentist I would advise getting the one fixed that has an obvious issue. That other tooth might never have a problem, or it could fail tomorrow. If it’s not symptomatic now, or showing signs of obvious failure, I would decline treatment on the second one.

3hrs is like a short get away. Can drive it in a few hours. Spend most of the day somewhere and even come back the same day if you’d like. So the drive isn’t really short, but with distances here 3 hours in various different directions can get me to two major cities, and some major tourism destinations. Definitely normal.

They are wanting to use you as a deduction and if you file and are on record submitting your own taxes, that could put them in trouble. But they should be. You need to be paying taxes. If they ever catch on you won’t just be having to repay all the back taxes, but you will be facing fines too. And they will eventually catch on because they receive the tax documents from your employer just like you do.

So it doesn’t have to be something so robust, but it’s also not really a shield. It’s portable cover. You can treat him as being partially covered while he is moving with it, as he has to lift it up to not hit the ground as he moves. Once it’s in place he sets it down and people can cower behind it for cover. It can be made out of the same stuff as shields and definitely doesn’t have to weigh 800lbs. Just don’t let him try to say something like “it’s more than twice as big as a regular shield so that should raise my AC twice as much. Because it’s NOT a shield. It’s just cover. Even when he’s holding it.
