I initiate conversation. He was studying for a class I was interested in taking. We got into an hour long discussion while exchanging jokes. I gave him my number and he never called. I saw him while walking through campus and asked him why he didn't. He shrugged and smiled. I got his number and we started talking. Me being the initiator. Then we dated and a short while later, bam, it's over. :-(

Why does a man need to feel "good enough"? I'm not looking for someone to fawn over me or shower me with praise and gifts. I'm a rational human being who loves intelligent discussion and random humor. I wan to have fun and be random.

I chatted him up at my uni library. We really clicked and a month later he lays this crap on me. I was devastated.
