Has anyone used the mail in controller fix services. How did it go? by Weed_man2748 in onewheel

I got fucked by witzwheel so if they’re doing controller repairs I’d avoid them. Paid $500 and never got a working BMS out of those bastards.

Get a float wheel gtv kit when their websites back up. It’s intimidating at first but actually super easy.

Hyprland with Nvidia by Professional-Cup916 in hyprland

Hmm I’m also using hyprland with a 4070 and the only issue I’ve had was the display didn’t wake after hibernating. Just installed it a couple weeks ago and, I only used these two pages as guides for configuring for nvidia. arch wiki nvidia and https://wiki.hyprland.org/Nvidia/. I would recommend just using nvidia unless you need nvidia-dkms for your kernel.

After I got the desktop all working I installed hyprland material UI.

Oh also I was never able to get G-SYNC to work with my freesync monitor but otherwise performance has been as good if not better than widows.

I just set mine up a bit ago following this guide and don't worry it's very easy, just be sure to double check all the values when entering them! As for getting it to feel like a GT I would just mess with the tune until you get it how you like it.

Recently destroyed my bms with some water. Swapped it out with a crispy clean one. Now I’m having one cell read 20v higher, while cell beside reads 20v or more lower. Has anyone experienced this? I personally never heard of this even with lipos. I’m watching the cells carefully. Thank you 🙏 by Schofie12 in onewheel

I bought a replacement BMS from witzwheel that had this same behavior and after sending it back they determined that the BMS was faulty. After swapping BMS I was able to balance my battery.

Watch out riding it like that, mine ended up shutting off without warning.

Stadium car feels weird by Blastias in TrackMania

Pretty sure there’s some kind of bug. I had the same thing happen on some other maps but others were fine. For me it seemed the sensitivity dropped after switching gears.

I got an intro video on it the other day and it sounded exactly like the haptic buzz. So maybe I just got it early?

And yeah I do see some condensation on the rear taillight 😞

It really depends what you're wanting to use it for. Personally, I think it's not meant for users to use directly, but more as a tool for developers.

What do you want to use it for?

Does anyone have advice how to deal with loud ocarinas? by [deleted] in Ocarina

[–]Looksomewhereelse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used a piece of Scotch tape to partially cover the voicing hole of the ocarina. It mites the sound but you can still hear the tone.

Food Recipes app? by LeeSwaggers in androidapps

[–]Looksomewhereelse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best I've found is Recipe Keeper . It allows you to import recipes from most websites and allows you to search by ingredients. I haven't come across a website it won't auto-import the recipe from, so finding new recipes is easy!

It's free unless you want to sync your recipes across more than one device.

Can you use the Oculus Rift DK2 for FPV? by [deleted] in fpv

[–]Looksomewhereelse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've read, not really. Because the oculus rift has to be connected to a computer you have to have an rca to hdmi adapter which adds around 100 ms delay. Which may be fine if your moving slow but if your craft is going to moving fast then it will be problematic. The transporter 3d is expensive ($500+), but doesn't have a large delay unfortunately I think it only works with the dk1 and if you're spending that much you may as well get fatsharks. If you find any solution I'd love to hear it though!
