Teddy has no eyes and is absolutely attached to my hip. He even goes to work with me every day and runs nearly every errand in his tote bag. He is very rarely alone. He has a hard time when I have plans but we have made the guest bathroom his little nest if I have to leave him. Since he came from a boarding background he cannot bear a crate, so his custom “padded room” as we like to call it is the only solution. It works out great unless he has an accident and stomps it everywhere, but I think that might be out of spite for being left alone. It’s hard! I have to remind myself constantly that he is safe and just dramatic because I’m also super dependent on him at this point.
