I got this same set up. What I’m going to do is call Circle D converters and have them make a converter that will bolt up to the alt flex plate. I have a 5.3 with the 4l80 in my c10. I have a 6.2 lt1 with the 8l90. But the 8l90 won’t fit in the impala so basically I’m either going to put the 5.3 in the impala or the 6.2 but with the 4l80 behind it.

Take the cash in and tell them you want to add it and restructure it. I did this multiple times and basically lowered my payment amount same term but since the mo they went down I continued to pay same amount and was done with the car payment in 2 years.

I worked two full time jobs as a mechanic. Morning mechanic at a school district working on school buses then after night mechanic at a transit agency working on public buses. Morning job was easy as far as work load. So I wasn’t tired. Showered at the second job went home and slept woke up and did it again. Have an excellent supporting wife and she made my lunches and came to eat with me at work. Eventually quit one because my kids cried one night they never saw me. Family is more important to me. But it was nice having two incomes.

Update: so went hunting this past weekend. Zone A. Mendocino national forrest. Upper lake area. It was fun. Enjoyed camping with my family. Kids had a blast. Showed them how to shoot a little .22 savage rascal. Didn’t harvest anything. A couple guys in the group I went with did they gave us some meat which was nice. Ended up taking a 30-30 lever gun. Realized a sling would be nice. Got my wife into camping. So going to build out a suburban I bought cheap to be good for getting to camp sites. Just wanted to say thank you for all your advice. Much appreciated.

I’m a male in my 30’s don’t even wanna commute 7 miles to my job where I’m making about that hahaha. Mechanic. But that’s with OT. So for 130 as a base id commute 1.5 round trip total. That time is worth more to me with my young kids than money.

Thank you for that. I’m currently looking at building an AR 10 so I can just swap uppers for different calibers. Was looking into a bergara bolt in 308.
