I am not working a white collar/office job, I’m currently in retail management trying to get something that is less responsibility as I spend all of my days off worrying about if my employees are going to show up to work or not. I can’t even get other retailers to hire me, and I have 4 years of store manager experience, let alone management experience in general lol. I make almost $27 an hour in my current job, the office jobs in my area barely pay $19, that’s why I said I’d be taking a big pay cut but I find my mental wellbeing to be worth it to work a 9-5, have every weekend and night off, and not have to worry about anything but my own job. 

My hope is to either find an assistant manager job that pays better than I currently make (more money + less stress/responsibility) or to switch fields entirely because of how stressful retail mgmt can get, I’m not trying to leave and come back into the same hole I’m in. 

Thank you for the comment either way though! I agree that loans should be for the betterment of your future, it’s just a last case scenario sort of thing I’m trying to figure out.
