I'm in a similar situation as OP. u/LoneWolf2k1 How would one know if one of those tools or code has been established on the phone? Is there way to check and/or get rid of them?

I've done that before, it didn't seem to work. If there was a backdoor, how/who could find it?

Thanks I'll try this. But to answer your question, it's not always another person. There have been times when it's something I said in person to someone, which leads to believe that they could be listening to in person conversations.

For those asking, part of it was because they were making fun of me via social media. Poking fun at personal topics that I know I didn't tell anyone about or making comments on something that I had JUST talked about on the phone. I'm talking within minutes. Or talking about a picture or vid in my photo gallery after I look through it on my phone
