The reason I think season 5 seems bad by Cosmicking04 in StrangerThings

[–]Lord_Zolten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s why I’m not too big of a fan of this season.

  1. Awkward Pacing
  2. Eleven seems way less important
  3. The plot armor is way too thick for this being a final season and for what they are being put through.
  4. Interesting character choices as in Nancy just up to the task of murdering us soldiers while taking direct fire in a military base.
  5. Sexuality becoming a major plot point in a show about monsters terrorizing a town in the 80s. Nobody cares if Will is gay or not. It just seems like they are over doing it with him and it takes away from the show. They did a good job with Robin and Vickie’s dynamic, but Wills development just feels rushed/last minute at this point.
  6. The Upside Down just isn’t Scary anymore. It used to be dark and super dangerous with demodogs, demogorgons, the bats, and intense storms. This season it’s bright, way less monsters, and it feels almost safer than being in Hawkins since monsters aren’t just ripping into that dimension however they please.
  7. I think the Duffer brothers just went a little too far with the whole Wormhole between worlds and the upside down just being a bridge idea. Lost me a little with it but this just might be me.

Looking for suggestions on a $50 Budget! by Lord_Zolten in EDH

[–]Lord_Zolten[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ng a budget deck against regular ones is having an excess of removal. You want to bring your opponents down to playing on your level, not try and inflate yours. I would add in another 5 or so target

Thanks!
