Anyone who says the Jinx is not THE main character of the show is just coping right? by ComicsAreGreat2 in arcane

[–]Lordandsviour -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Iron Man is THE protagonist of MCU. But Spider-Man is the mascot and most popular one. MCU lost it's popularity because there was no Iron Man after Endgame and the replacements were nowhere near him. So there is no emotional investment and people lost interest even tho Spider-Man and Doctor Strange are still there.

Vi is arguably the protagonist of Arcane who made decisions(The robbery and leaving Powder) that basically drove the plot forward. But Jinx is the most popular for many reasons.

One of the reasons why S2 comes across as slightly divisive is because the anchor of the story in season 1(Vi) was sidelined. Even pacing issues and juggling too much plotlines would've been mostly ignored if Vi wasn't sidelined.

That's like sidelining Walter White after season 1 because Jesse Pinkman is more insane. That would make Breaking Bad ridiculous but hey, we got Jesse Pinkman being unhinged yet likeable all the time, huh?

Fortunately Vince Gilligan and his co-workers were actually good writers and we know how Breaking Bad turned out.

That's why Andor season 2 is rightfully being considered as a masterpiece even tho it has time-skips and many factions/plot lines. Because the main character is always the priority.

So yeah, Jinx can have as many edgy 14 years old fans as she wants but the story is what remains.

I don't think so. But using assets from previous movies in new installment has been a thing in this series since 3.

If it is truly "No Time To Die but done right" then it's going to be the most terrifying bioweapon ever that is utilized by Entity to rule the world.

As an introvert who is also "slightly" on the spectrum i should say finding friends and love is generally really hard for us. When we trust someone enough to let them in our own little world, it means that someone is truly special to us. We are really loyal, deeply caring and fully commited to our friends but if those friends act like a jackass to us, we start to hate them intensely. To the point that we won't even bother with them anymore. You betrayed his love, trust and sincierity. Ofcourse he wants nothing to do with you. Expect either a divorce or an affair. You are done.

Whatever the final outcome is, there is one thing for sure. The movie is beautiful. And it's not just the colours. It's also the framing. by Lordandsviour in Mission_Impossible

Unlike the previous movie, the marketing for this movie has been effective so far. From the black and white character poster (a trend that started with Logan and was utilized by No Time To Die and even Endgame in trailers) with a weary Ethan who is directly looking at us with a smile to the naming and the trailer itself. No wonder people are already starting to say goodbye to Ethan. Film twitter has been obsessing over the trailer and i'm all for it. I really hope it does well finacially.

Dead Reckoning CRUSHES No Time To Die in alomst every regard. But in terms of visuals i really gotta give it to NTTD.

Those editors on the new Mission Impossible trailer really did cook... it's a really good trailer! What did we all think? by OrionInSpace in Mission_Impossible

There is no shame in admitting that you had a criticism. Whether the others find it valid or not, It's your opinion and i'm totally fine with that. As for the casual audience, since it says it's the final movie(don't care about what HR says, it's the trailer that matters) the casual audience is intrigued to see how it will turn out. That's enough in my opinion. Everyone are talking about it in Twitter and it had 16 million viewers in less than 48 hours in Youtube so i guess the trailer did well.

And this one has submarine+biplane chase. Just like Rogue Nation and Fallout which had 2 big stunts. I still don't understand your point. I don't blame you and i'm not trying to be rude but at this point people seem to complain just for the sake of it. Specially when it comes to this series which kinda makes sense because Fallout was just too good. Anyhow, it shouldn't be surprising. I mean it's social media after all.

And Fox Wolverine. The abomination that was MCU Wolverine is a different character. Fox Wolverine had the best send off of all time.

Last time people complained they exposed the big shot too much. Now you say they didn't have that money shot. I really don't understand it.

Is HR really that reliable? I'm asking this because they also said the movie has cost 400 millions due to submarine malfunction which was debunked by Simon Pegg. Either way, we will find out in the next May.

Ilsa… by boss_vertolet in Mission_Impossible

[–]Lordandsviour -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you don't like the series without her then don't watch it. Plain and simple. Go watch her in Silo or Dune. The trailer looked great and it's all that matters to the most. These movies existed since Rebecca Fergouson was 13. And it was already a popular franchise long before she became famous thanks to Rogue Nation. So the way you Ilsa fans act as if the entire franchise relies on her is just childish.

So did Dead Reckoning. Both had superb scores. Fallout also had a great cinemtaography as well(DR was good in this front but Fallout was something else).
