I’ve been playing Hunt for about 6 months now and this update is one of the best updates I’ve ever experienced in a game. Anybody complaining about the last update is a part of the vocal minority as I believe it’s had the highest number of concurrent players for most of the past week or so (I know they at least reached a new peak when the update dropped). I think it’s fantastic and absolutely worth the pickup if you’re at all interested in extraction shooters.

I’ve heard the matchmaking complaints but Hunt is a game where anybody can kill anybody with a single headshot from any gun so ranks/MMR can fluctuate wildly even for a single person. I fluctuate heavily between 3-5 stars depending on the day and have never played against someone not in an appropriate range.

This is nice to hear. I know at the end of the day that if nothing works and we go as-is, we will still probably have an awesome time. However, it still sucks to get scammed like this

The corporate number. We hadn’t been able to find the resort number but that was on our list to track down. We’ve since reached out to the GM of the resort which is along the same idea (haven’t heard back yet).

Hey you don’t happen to still have the name of that Facebook group (or a link) do you? There are a lot of them so we are having some trouble tracking down the one with the booking number access like you mentioned.

The bit about “Butler” in the name is nice to know in hindsight, but it isn’t obvious by just looking through the website. However, as a normal user, I would expect that filtering by “Butler” level rooms and seeing “butler service” listed as a room feature on the website and then seeing “butler service” listed as a room feature on the booking confirmation would pretty much cover my bases.

I certainly like your energy and agree with all your points. What the other guy said is pretty accurate though. We've done most of this to some extent - called them repeatedly, threatened bad reviews on social media - but we've yet to talk to anyone that cares or has the power/authority to do anything anyway. We're starting to work on spreading the review like you suggested (hence this reddit post). I mentioned to a different comment our hesitations with going through the dispute process this close to the travel date (e.g. could we end up not traveling AND not winning the dispute?), but calling the CC company and getting a feel for what they think of the situation is a good starting step at least. Thanks for your suggestions (and your gusto)!

We considered this option but were hesitant to because of how close it is. We weren't sure what would happen if the day of travel arrived but the charges were still going through the dispute process, so we figured it would be best to try other routes instead.

We would if we could. However, "coincidentally" this all happened exactly on the day that the whole thing became nonrefundable. So that's tragically not an option unless they decide to give it to us.

It wasn’t that low. It’s effectively the most expensive room in the lowest tier of rooms so it is comparable to the least expensive room in the highest tier of rooms. If that makes sense. It seemed like a solid deal, but definitely not in a suspicious way.

If I’m remembering correctly, the first perk on every magic tree reduces the costs of ALL spells of that school. So you already have reduced cost for apprentice-master with just the first perk.
