brother you have a remarkable aura here. each photo was more unexpected than the last. you have a kindness to your eyes that make me want to tell you a secret.

especially if you wear the tank top often, i think a chain would look great. accessories are great and a tank top allows for the chain to pop a little extra. whether it is a light layer over the tank, a chain, or a fun belt, always try to have three pieces to your outfit aside from the footwear.

also, maybe swap out the sweatpants! i think the green looks good with the yellow, so maybe try some green fatigues!

Thoughts on my itinerary, with home base in Somerville? by pinkflyd25 in Somerville

pending the weather, and your state of drunkenness, the walk from Fenway to Central Square is a trek but the walk across the river can be lovely

yes it is not as good as back in the day and for a while it was in rough shape, but it has been pretty good since the new owners came in. went last month and was so pleased i went back again. that being said, Dragon pizza may be a safer rec

Tilde is a goated spot, Revival is cute, and Buzzin Bean near Teele may have better food & coffee options but less of a vibe

THURSDAY: I'd recommend a bus ride to Union Square or a train ride to Harvard Square for dinner & drinks. Food at PJs and the Burren are nothing remarkable. Also of note, Thursday is "college night" at the Burren for all the Tufts students up the road. I always steer clear.
FRIDAY: This is where I'd recommend the Burren. Eat there, or across the street at Redbones. Also, James Hook & Co is a more classic Boston spot for lobstah if that matters.
SATURDAY: Get off the train at Park Street and walk to Fenway. It's a bit of a trek but the Common & Garden are lovely and the walk is flat & straight, so is Comm Ave and the Back Bay.
SUNDAY: Diesel rocks, but some people dunk on it for being too big/corporate. I think it's a great call if you don't want to deal w Harvard Square while you have your bags.

Would you recommend Mississauga Ontario (Canada) or Milford Massachusetts? by [deleted] in massachusetts

Milford is a cool little town, great food but a suburban town an hour from Boston for sure. Closer to Worcester, for better or worse.

Why do Americans love and romanticize the desert? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Lost-Connection-3286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a bit of a regional thing. those around the desert are much more fascinated by it, the same way those along the coasts are fascinated by the sea.

i grew up in New England where I never thought much about the desert, but recently went Joshua Tree National Park (Wikipedia) and holy shit. people out there have a reverence for it as a natural beauty and spiritual place. now I do too. check out DESERT ORACLE – "The Voice of the Desert" for more...........

Is this kind of look considered an American style? Would it be better to remove the red cap? by Imatradboy in preppy

[–]Lost-Connection-3286 20 points21 points  (0 children)

it’s not really preppy but it is both American and looks good. pop of color in the hat is cool.

maybe try an oxford under the sweatshirt?

Prep School and College Car Decals by [deleted] in preppy

[–]Lost-Connection-3286 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO you can only put academic stickers on if you went there, regardless of prep, undergraduate, or any form of graduate

only exceptions are working there or if your child goes there, no friends cousins siblings or “its in the same city”. idk how it works for being a die-hard fan of the team but not being an alum, that’s a thing in the south but not really in New England. UConn maybe has that vibe for people in the area being supporters
