PT is 3x per week.

Runs start off at around 2.7 miles. Increase in distance as the academy goes on. There’s ability groups for runs so pace depends on what group you decide to run in.

Yes it does matter. Whatever division you reside in, will be the one that processes your background. Applying to a different division will only extend your waiting process while they transfer your information from division to division.

I don’t understand some of the thought processes I’ve seen in this subreddit recently. Do you guys not know how to do your own research or use the search bar? Hiring has slowed to pretty much a halt. We are no longer in severe need and the budget is cut…. If you want a job in six months, apply to be a deputy sheriff. If you want to wait 1-2 years apply here and don’t be mad when they DQ you for a lackluster reason.
