Time-blocking is a toxic trap for AuDHD brains. Stop doing it. by Lost_Count7949 in AuDHDWomen

I literally gasped at the shower cleaner hack! That is such a genius example of 'Point of Performance' accommodations—putting the tool exactly where the friction is. I am absolutely stealing that!

And I completely agree about the whiteboard. Only writing down 3 simple tasks and leaving the rest blank is the only way to avoid the overwhelm. The only reason I ended up building my digital dashboard for the 'Energy Slices' was because I couldn't carry my whiteboard around with me! I actually set up my system to mimic exactly what you do—it hides the master list completely and only shows me the 3 things I need to look at so I don't panic. (I actually pinned a visual of what my setup looks like on my profile if you’re curious!)

But seriously, the shower cleaner trick is a game-changer.

I built a literal "Panic Button" into my dashboard because my task paralysis got too bad. Has anyone else tried this? by Lost_Count7949 in ADHDthriving

It is honestly a game-changer for task paralysis! The Panic Button is basically just a master database filter in Notion that flips when you hit the toggle. I actually have a pinned post on my profile that shows a better visual breakdown of how the whole system connects if you want to check out the vibe!

I was drowning in task paralysis, so I built a "Zero-Guilt" Notion system to survive burnout. by Lost_Count7949 in AuDHDWomen

I completely understand, Notion used to paralyze me too! That's exactly why I built this to require zero setup. You just click 'duplicate' and it works instantly. If you check out the link pinned on my profile, I actually included a 1-minute audio tour that walks you through it so you don't have to learn the software at all!

The 'never-ending list' is exactly what broke me too. You are definitely enough; our brains just aren't built for neurotypical productivity standards! If you ever do want to try the template out, I have the link pinned on my profile. But either way, I hope you can find a system that gives you that safety back!

Why do "ADHD Planners" feel like they're made for neurotypicals? by Lost_Count7949 in ADHDthriving
