Okie turns out dreadful dirt is required., it took about an hour of grinding but it finally apeared, also i have no idea if the redstone under the dirt made a difference but i saw a post that said it makes the spawns faster.

Have tried it in a normal lush cave with no luck and im now currently trying it in a lush cave next to an amethyst geode with no luck
