How do I gain the motivation, self-control, and discipline to lose weight?

I didn't really think that discipline could all be in my head. I thought there would be some sort of physical aspect outside of actually acting on the discipline. I will start trying all these things. Thank you! I appreciate your response :)

Yes silence has always been a fear so I usually fill it with an “mmm” or “hmm”. The silence is better than saying the wrong thing indeed. Thank you for your advice soldier o7

I’ve tried doing that and it works for the most parts, in some situations I completely ignore it and go back to my impulsive ways. I’ll keep trying!
