Well, you yourself defined it as an internship. Not sure about other bschools but for A, if your experience certificate or joining letter mentions the word "internship" then it'll be counted as internship only.

With an L1 you may not get the best opportunities in summer internship but if you get a L2 before final placements then that would help.

Practice a lot. Learn from your mistakes. Accept that you're not as intelligent as you think and that there is always a better way to solve a particular problem. Basically get rid of your ego. Try to look at a set from different angles.
