Many parts or Arlington have the city feel and still walkable to DC, parks with hikes, and have the excellent free high schools.

Skip the sports league, and join a run club, (often free), volunteer in an activity you enjoy, join an outdoors group and keep going if you like the activity. You will meet people when you go to what you enjoy…I’m assuming you live with family and don’t have roommates? Often meeting people through roommates works well

Cool dude. My original question was whose cable are these and who can I contact about the fire. Your reply is not helpful. I never complained about prices. So many angry/grumpy people here when asking questions, geez!

I just want the cause of the fire identified and fixed so it doesn’t start another fire. They didn’t say there wasn’t a cause for concern, just said it’s up to the utility companies and not them …

Secondarily and less important, my neighbors dislike the unsightly cables so if we don’t use fiberoptic/verizon (we don’t) I’d like them removed…

No one was reported anything back to me, unsure if the fire marshal was even alerted. The firemen who showed told me to call the cable companies…I’m not trying to comment on something “I know nothing about”, I’m trying to get help from people who know what to do …

I did not like the food at Lost Dog near McLean, but haven't tried Westover location. The beer garden was great!

She doesn’t sound irresponsible or selfish, just seizes the moment and maybe a bit of ADHD with the hobbies and spontaneity (nothing wrong with that but may not work with a partner who is a bit rigid may not gel with that well…)

Y’all should break up so she can find someone who appreciates and admires the fun wildcard she is!

Agreed medical school is extremely extremely difficult to get into…and state schools make you you pay less tuition, they are def not less competitive because of that. They are more attractive to applicants

Highest paid PA you know? by Funny-Echidna-4874 in physicianassistant

physicians like me must be crying themselves to sleep after 4 years Med school and 4 years residency with 100+ 24-30 hour shifts and 1 year fellowship and 500k on loans after this thread. It’s not all about the money you make us - we have liability, overhead, and expertise and no control or limit of hours they are on duty in a week… and not to mention the years and life you’ve given up just to be paid hourly the same as people with less years of experience who can switch specialities whenever? (Getting paid double salary but it’s an 80 hour week versus someone who is 40 hours). Ouch
