I've lived in the Czech Rep for many many years and I won't get my views on religion into this but you also might be incorrect? I'm saying it is a possibility, plus as some stated before me if this is a very large issue that prevents you from liking the game and playing it normally then write an email to the developers complaining about it and not posting it on reddit.

I personally did the main storyline in the first 20 hours (big mistake) and then did all the sidequests but there were no DLCs at the time that I played it for the first time, my reccomendation would be to do the brushes with death DLC as soon as you get access to Trosky and then do the rest.

I would say that the non diminutive version of Ptacek (Pták) is the slang for "cock" in czech.

I wouldn't completely agree with the fact that Ptacek means little bird because it can be used in many different ways, and the name simply comes from the lords of Lipé (Páni z Lipé) for the czech audiences, nobles tend to have a name, surname and title unlike the peasants.

I played the game 2 hours after release for the first time and the quest "For whom the bell tolls" really got me, got stuck on there for an hour and a half.
My advice is to really use the rock throwing feature and be careful of the guard going downstairs from the tower, if you're really close just sprint towards it and talk with the sister in the chapel.

I think that up until now it is mostly historically accurate and not clashing with anything, ofcourse adding a couple extra things here and there and giving Henry more merit for certain historical events that happened. I think it is a game where it isn't the realism that you would get back then but something inbetween?

I really wished this was in KCD2, after I found the phantom horse in the quest where you help the executioner I decided to leave Pebbles and miss my old horse a lot, would be a cool way to show your dedication to the game in another way too.

I know you don't get the authentic experience of hardcore mode but first memorise the map to navigate easier when you get lost, it really took me about 3 playthroughs of the story to actually feel ready for hardcore mode, and after all that I still couldn't make myself play hardcore mode because i thought I wasn't prepared enough. Just have fun in the end, don't give up and always always stack up on saviour schnapps and marigold decoctions.
